Jo Lynn Harp

Jo Lynn Harp, 74 formerly of Sunray, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020. A Private Family Graveside Service is scheduled at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray followed by a memorial service at 10 oclock in the morning on Friday, December 11, 2020 at First United Methodist Church in Sunray with Pastor David McGaughy, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Jo Lynn was born on May 22, 1946 in Quanah, TX to Virgil and Vivian (Trosper) Thomas. Jo Lynn married Harry Harp on December 26, 1964; he preceded her in death. Jo Lynn will be remembered for her excellent cooking and generous heart. She always had a smile on her face and seemed to bring a little bit of joy to every life she touched. Jo Lynn was a member of the First United Methodist Church and will be missed by all her family and friends. In addition to her husband Harry she was preceded in death by her parents; grandson: Hadley Harp; brother: Bobby Thomas. Jo Lynn in survived by her son: Merrill Harp and wife Cari of Dumas, TX; daughter: Markae Harp of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Austin Harp and wife Amanda of Amarillo, TX, Hayden Harp of Sunray, TX, Mekayla Martin and Trevor of McKinney, TX; great-grandchildren: Maisyn and Maybrey Martin; brother: Mike Thomas and wife Reva of Whitesboro, TX.
