Joaquin Andres Hernandez

Joaquin Andres Hernandez, 30 of Cactus, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 6 oclock in the evening at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Joaquin was born on July 7, 1990 in Dumas, TX to Fernando and Ana (Trevino) Hernandez. He grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School in 2008. Joaquin was currently employed at Northwest Insulation as a painter. Joaquin was a happy and delightful young man that brought joy into every life he touched. He was loved by everyone and seemed to light up the room as soon as he entered it. He liked all types of music and enjoyed spending time with his dog Porky. He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Joaquin was preceded in death by his grandparents. Joaquin is survived by his parents, Fernando and Ana Hernandez of Cactus, TX; sister, Imelda Barba and husband Pedro of Crane, TX, brother, Fernando Hernandez and wife Esperanza of Cactus, TX, and sister, Joanna Acevedo and husband Luis of Cactus, TX; nephews and nieces: Angel, Timothy, Joshua, Eileen, Hailey, William, Sarahi and Anahi, and his beloved dog, Porky.
