John Leslie Porter

John Leslie Porter, 41, went to be with his Lord Friday, November 21, 2008, in Ft. Worth, after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. John Porter was born March 23, 1967 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He attended school in Azle and worked as a plumber prior to his illness. He was a member of Full Gospel Holiness Church. Survivors include; his mother, Joyce Porter Burrell; children, Hollie Ann Porter and Breanna Nicole Porter; brother, Kelly Joe Porter; grandfather, John O. Porter; and numerous aunts, uncles and extended-family members.
