John Ransom Terrell

John Ransom Terrell, 62 of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2023. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas with Pastor Matt Price, officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

John was born on September 6, 1960 in Lubbock, TX to David and Eva Lou (Butler) Terrell. He married Toni Crain on August 18, 1991 in Dallas, TX. John worked for Home Depot for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing golf. John was of Baptist faith and will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents: John Butler and Ransom and Ines Terrell.

John is survived by his wife Toni, of the home; grandmother: Bea Butler of Bryan, TX; sisters: Jaylyn Alexander of Amarillo, TX and Joann Terrell of Borger, TX; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
