On February 14, 1987, he married Linda in Lubbock, TX and the couple moved to Dumas in 2017 where Carl served as the Executive Director of Dumas Moore County Chamber of Commerce. Carl had many hobbies which included camping, golfing, swimming and enjoying a good cigar and a cold beer, preferably a Budweiser.
