Johnny Shane Hickey

Johnny Shane Hickey, 55 of Dumas passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Terry Smith, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Johnny was born on January 12, 1966, in Dumas, TX to John and Sue (Hill) Hickey. He grew up in Dumas and graduated Dumas High School in 1984. Johnny loved to shoot pool, gamble and play Texas Hold ‘Em. He also was a big baseball fan and umpired in Dumas Little League and North Plains Babe Ruth. Johnny loved to ride his Harley Davidson and collected eagles. Just recently, Johnny found the Lord and attended Christ Community Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister: Mary.

Johnny is survived by his nieces: Amanda Foskey, husband Ross and their children of Sts. Mary’s, GA, Shayna Gibbens, husband Daniel and their children of Plantation, FL; cousins: Nita Crownover and husband Donald, Shelley Frische and husband Pat, James Tyler and wife Tamara all of Dumas, TX; sister-in-law: Kathy Robinson of Dumas, TX; nephews: Kenny Robinson and wife Sara of Dumas, TX and Jake Robinson and wife Hayley of Canyon, TX.
