Jose Antonio Tony Fuentes

Jose Antonio "Tony" Fuentes, 57 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 11 oclock in the morning on Friday at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Tony was born on October 7, 1962 in Alamosa, CO to Alfonso and Margarita (Garcia) Fuentes. Tony worked in the construction business and was very handy. He loved listening to music and cleaning. Tony was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic and will be missed. He was preceded in death by his mother; sister: Maria Garrison; nephews: Lucio Fuentes, Jr. and Jerry Garrison Jr. Tony is survived by his children: Magdalena Fuentes and husband Valentin of Midland, TX, Tony Fuentes, Jr. and wife Abilene of TN, Celsa Fuentes and husband Auston, Susie Fuentes, and Jacob Fuentes all of NC; father: Alfonso Fuentes; brothers and sisters: Pablo Gonzalez and wife Julia of Dumas, Dolores Galvan and husband Heriberto of Cactus, Geneva Gutierrez and husband Gregorio, Mauricio Fuentes and wife Mary all of Dumas, Anita Gonzalez and husband Rosalio of Amarillo, Lucio Fuentes, Jr. And wife Laura of Dumas, Blanca Wood and husband David of NC, Lupe Fuentes and wife Rebecca of WY, Jose Alfredo Fuentes and Jose Alfonso Fuentes and wife Susana, and Rosemary DelaRrosa and husband Ricky all of Dumas; grandchildren: Leticia Fuentes, Valetin, Jr. and Sophia Cantua.
