Jose Rosales

Jose Rosales, 74 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.  Mr. Rosales will be available for viewing on Sunday from 3 o'clock in the afternoon until 8 o'clock in the evening and Monday from 8 o'clock in the morning until 8 o'clock in the evening at Morrison Memorial Chapel. 

Jose was born on March 19, 1951, in Durango, Mexico to Santiago Rosales and Maria De Jesus Triana. He was united in marriage to Adelina Pedro on May 9, 1981, in Mexico and the couple eventually moved to Dumas 20 years ago to start the Mision Bautista Neuva Vida Church where Jose was the pastor. Jose had many hobbies which included tinkering with and collecting almost anything. Jose was handy and could fix just about anything, he'd never throw stuff away but fix it or find another use for it. He loved the Lord and his familly.  He had a funny sense of humor and loved playing loteria with his grandchildren, 

Jose was preceded in death by his parents.

Jose is survived by his wife, Adelina of the home; children: Jonathan Rosales and wife Mariela along with their daughter of Amarillo, TX, Damaris Ortiz and husband Randy along with their children, Jacob, Khloe and Zoe of Liberal, KS, Rode Lara and husband Juan along with their children, Delaney, Danielle and Matteo of Dumas, TX, and Dalila Rosales of Wellington, KS; siblings: Celia Rosales, Sanjuana Rosales, Aurora Rosales, Rite Diede, Santiago Rosales, Ignacio Rosales, and Aquilino Rosales along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
