Joyce Faye Russell

Joyce Faye Russell, 84 of Dumas passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Dumas Cemetery with Pastor Sammy Eaton, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Joyce was born on June 28, 1940, in Cement, OK to Alfred and Dorothy (Cook) Tullos. She was united in marriage to Don Russell Sr. in September of 1955 and the couple moved to Dumas in 1974 where they made their home. Joyce worked at Wal Mart as a bookkeeper and loved to read. She was of Christian Faith. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Donna Claypool; six sisters along with her twin sister Lois Barton. 

Joyce is survived by her son: Don Russell and wife Tracy of Dumas, TX; daughter: Lori Porter and husband Steve of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Phillip Porter, Mellissa Porter, Timothy Claypool, Candace Williams, Josh Claypool, Samantha Drake, and Matthew Russell.
