Joyce Wiseman

Joyce M Wiseman, 83 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025. Memorial services are scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Monday, December 8, 2025, at First Christian Church with Pastor Darrell Wait, pastor of the church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Joyce was born on April 23, 1942, in Dalhart, TX to James Clarence and Rosie Leona (Mitchell) McClellen. She grew up in Dalhart but attended school in Texline where she graduated high school. She eventually moved to Dumas where she has been a resident for the past 65 years. Joyce loved art of all kinds, sewing, crocheting, knitting and especially loved to travel the world. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Joyce had a strong personality and you never had to make any decisions when you were around Joyce, she made them all.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents: husbands: Jimmy, John and Johnny; brother: James Leon McClellen.

Joyce is survived by her daughter: Tracy Edwards and her husband Steve of Lillian, Alabama; brother: Lewis McClellen of Dalhart, TX; sisters: Alice Faye Stegman of Henderson, NV, Barbara Ann Queen of Las Vegas, NV and Brenda Sue Kadish of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter: Kristen Miller of Orange, TX; great grandchildren: Zoe, Zeno and Ace along with numerous other extended family members.
