Judy McGuire

November 16, 1971 — July 15, 2022

Judy Thrasher McGuire, 50 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022.  Memorial services will be held at 10 o’clock in the morning on Tuesday. July 19, 2022, at Temple Baptist Church with Chris Fobbs officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson~Morrison Funeral Directors.

Judy was born on November 16, 1971, in Dumas, TX to Levi and Maxine Thrasher. Judy attended school in Dumas, TX until moving to Houston, TX.  In Judy’s early 20’s, she returned to Dumas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Sandra, and two grandsons: Zakery and Luke.

Judy lived her life in the moment – in other words, she was carefree.  She loved adventures.  Judy rode her motorcycle from one side of the United States and Canada to the other with her “guys” as she loving called them.  Her true biker friends called her a “beast”.  Judy loved ziplining, road trips with friends and family, and anything to do with water.  She never passed up a Harley shop, she had to get her chip or t-shirt.  You never told Judy she couldn’t, because she would surely prove you wrong!  Judy’s biggest loves were her children and grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her two sons of Dumas: Shane Sachitano and Sean Carothers; one daughter of Tyler, Tiana McGuire; granddaughter of Stratford: Seraphine Carothers and many children of the heart…to many to list; her two yaya’s: Michelle Frame and husband Steve of Dumas, TX and Gay Bridges and husband Jerry of Friona along with numerous family and friends.
