Karol Jean Moseley

Karol Jean Moseley, 75 of Dumas passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Karol was born on July 21, 1948 in Avant, OK to Sylvester and Lavon (Davis) Martin. She attended school in Skiatook, OK where she graduated from High School.  She later graduated from Frank Phillips with a nursing degree.  After school she worked for Dr. Ignacio and later went to work for Diamond Shamrock as an assistant operator.  She married Lynn Moseley on February 22, 1985 in Clayton, NM and the couple made Dumas their home.  Karol loved arts, crafts and shooting guns with her boys.  She also enjoyed Christmas time and all the decorations that went with it.   She enjoyed cooking for her family, however her greatest joy was her grandchildren.  She was of Christian Faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Jamie; brother: Robert Martin.

Karol is survived by her husband Lynn of the home; sons: Rob Knowles and wife Lisa of Allen, TX and Mike Knowles and wife Heather of Farmers Branch, TX; daughter-in-law: Miranda Bik-Williams of Denton, TX; grandchildren: Damon Knowles and wife Angela, Dalton Knowles, Nathan Knowles, Dayton Knowles; great-grandchildren: Brayden Knowles and Della Knowles; aunt: Barbara Partin of Purvis, MS; friends that were more like sisters: Carol Lowry and Virginia Mixon.
