Kathy Russell

Kathy Russell, 80 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Matt Price, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Kathy was born on August 28, 1941, in Dumas, TX. She married James Russell; he preceded her in death in 2012. Kathy loved the outdoors and enjoyed taking walks. Her favorite hobby was sewing and especially loved to cook and make desserts. Kathy adored her grandchildren; fewer things made her happier than to sing and dance with them whenever she could. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her husband, James, she was preceded in death by her parents; grandson: James Fry; brothers: Ben and Joe.Kathy is survived by her daughters: Tammie Fry and husband Randy of Dumas, TX, Stephanie Brown and husband David of Amarillo, TX, Jamie Jones and husband Mike of Dalhart, TX; grandchildren: Jake Fry, Shane Petrey, Heather Martinez, Cooper Friemel and Crystal Friemel; sisters: Terri and Janie; 12 great-grandchildren.
