Kathyrn Lee Hill

Kathryn Lee Hill, 65 of Sunray passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Sunray Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Hilton, officiating. Interment will follow at Brown Memorial Cemetery The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the evening at the funeral home in Sunray. The arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Kathryn was born on June 22, 1958, in Dumas, TX to Eldrew and Virginia (Houchin) Johnson. She grew up in Sunray where she graduated from Sunray High School.  She married Mike Hill on August 6, 1976 in Sunray and the couple made their lives as farmers.  She loved to read and study her Bible daily.  She absolutely adored her grandchildren, following them in all their activities and teaching them many life lessons.  She enjoyed baking cookies with them and teaching them how to cook. Kathryn especially enjoyed her flowers and her pets.  She attended Cross Community Church in Borger and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and mother-in-law: Merle Hill.

Kathryn is survived by her husband, Mike of the home; daughter: Mandy Hill Williamson and husband C.J. of Sunray, TX; son: Michael Hill and wife Sandy of Sunray, TX; grandchildren: Lexi Gomez, Warren Williamson, Lauren Kathryn Williamson and Hannah Merle Hill; brothers: Johnny Johnson and wife Barbara of Dumas, TX, Eldon Johnson and wife Debra of Dumas, TX; sister: Sandra Turner and husband Dwain of Sunray, TX along with numerous other extended family members.
