Kenneth Wayne Faulkner, 78, of Dumas passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Jody Presser, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Kenneth was born on March 12, 1947, in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Ernest and Leona (Youngblood) Faulkner. The family moved to Sunray, TX when Kenneth was less than one year old and finally, to Dumas when Kenneth was nine. He grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School in 1965. He began his work descriptions while still a high school student. He was able to study schematics of the bowling machines and became a repairman. While a high school student, he became a repairman for machines in Dumas, Canyon, Amarillo, and Hereford.
Kenneth (Kenny to family and friends) wore several hats through the years including TV repair, radio disc jockey, and then for the Moore County Sheriff Office for several years. He enjoyed the work at the sheriff’s department but was cut short on his tenure when he was found to have Multiple Sclerosis. He worked for several years for JP Industries before finally retiring, Kenny loved to play bingo and will be remembered for having a big heart. Kenneth would do anything for anyone.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Kenneth is survived by his brothers: Charles Faulkner of Amarillo, TX, Jody Presser and wife Nancy of Longview, TX; Nephews: Alan Faulkner (Phoenix, Az), Chris Faulkner (Albuquerque, NM), Justin Presser (Dumas), Jared Presser (Dumas) and niece, Tina Faulkner (Clovis, NM).
