Kenneth “Kenny” David Keisling, 71, of Dumas, Texas, passed peacefully into his eternal home on November 26, 2025, surrounded by love and the warmth of his family. Born on June 29, 1954, in Plainview, Texas, to Harold and Mary Lou Keisling.
Raised in Sunray, Texas, Kenny graduated from Sunray High School in 1971, where he began laying the foundation for a life built on hard work and integrity. It was there that he met the love of his life, Pam Bryan, and on August 13, 1972, they were married, beginning a partnership that would span more than five decades. The family moved in 1979, making Dumas their home.
Kenny was a man of many talents. For more than 25 years, he worked tirelessly as a farmer, earning respect as a dedicated and successful producer. A proud member of the Texas Wheat Producers Board & Association, Kenny became the youngest person ever to serve on the board, where he served for 10 years, including a term as President. In 1996, his excellence in the field earned him the title Texas Top Wheat Producer.
After stepping away from farming in 1997, Kenny’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to purchase a machine shop business. He successfully operated Keisling Industrial Services for 27 years, leveraging his skills as a gifted machinist to find solutions, build, and repair everything he worked on. Known for his innovative problem-solving abilities, he earned a reputation for his reliability, steady leadership, and exceptional work ethic throughout his career.
Although he was fortunate in his work, his greatest blessing was his marriage. Kenny’s love for Pam was immeasurable. He made it known he wouldn’t have been able to live without her, and in the end he succeeded. The love they shared will forever be a testament to the strength of their partnership.
In the latter years of his life, Kenny experienced a profound renewal of faith. His walk with Jesus became a central part of his life, and he found a deep sense of belonging in his church family at First Baptist Church in Dumas.
Outside of work and family, Kenny was a passionate car enthusiast. He enjoyed drag racing, car building, and the thrill of rock crawling in his beloved jeep, Raggedy Ann. Moab, Beuna Vista and The Ranch were special places where he and his friends created countless memories. He valued his friendships deeply and cherished the bonds he formed through those shared experiences.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pam Keisling of Dumas; five children: M’liss and husband Brad Barker of Dumas; Kenna and husband Andy Zeigler of Amarillo; Pamela and husband Bubba Burt of Dumas; Michael and wife Jennifer Keisling of Sunray; and Kathryn and husband Dusty McWilliams of Dumas; as well as 17 grandchildren: Calvin and wife Sydney, Ana Belle, Benjamin, Daisy, and Ella Barker; Ian, Alex, and Zach Zeigler; Kailey, Lily, and Maggie Jo Burt; Kelton, Greyson, and Tabor Keisling; and Zoe, Emalyn, and Ava McWilliams.
He is loved and remembered by a large extended family and leaves behind a constellation of cherished friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Lou Keisling; his brother, Mike Keisling; his sister, Lynda Baldock; and his daughter, Allison Paige Keisling.
