Kenny Duane Brown

Kenny Duane Brown, 70, of Sunray passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Services are scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Kenny was born October 6, 1954, in the US Army Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany to James and Martha Jo (Sarrels) Brown. After graduating from high school in Spearman, TX, Kenneth began working in the gas and oil field. He met the love of his life, Lana Dunlap and they would marry on October 6, 1981. They made Sunray their home and Kenneth enjoyed being around family and the Sunray community.

He loved the outdoors and would spend many hours fishing or hunting for arrowheads. Kenny and Lana took many road trips just to see the country, the mountains, and many other places. He was a loving father and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Lana of the home; daughter: Kendra Brown of Amarillo, TX; 2 grandchildren; brothers: Mike and wife Alice Brown of Woodward, OK, and Roger and wife Katherine Brown of Claude, TX, Becky Myers and husband Jim of Amarillo, TX; numerous other extended family members.
