Kerry Lawerence Steen

Kerry Lawerence Steen, 62 of Stinnett, passed away on Monday October 3, 2022. Memorial services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Grady Burkhalter officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Kerry was born May 6, 1960, in Dalhart, TX to Homer and “Minnie Jo” Steen. Kerry attended Clayton High School where he was on the football team. Kerry married Suzann Durbin in 1980 in Clayton, NM and the couple made Stinnett their home.  Kerry enjoyed fishing, hunting and his dogs. In his free time, he would play golf and ride his Harley. Kerry was a very hard worker and was currently a superintendent at D E Rice.  He was of Christian Faith.

Kerry is preceded in death by his father and his brother, Ronnie Steen.

Kerry is survived by his wife, Suzann Steen of the home; children: Kristin Admire and husband Wayne of Dumas, TX and Jerrod Steen and wife Kaycia of Panhandle, TX; mother Minnie Jo Steen of Dalhart, TX; grandchildren: Paige Graham, Zac Admire, Cambriee Steen and Saydee Steen along with 7 great grandchildren; brothers: Dusty Steen of Raton, NM, Jeff Steen and wife Josefa of Moriarty, NM; sister (yes, he has a sister) Cynthia Barnes and husband David of Plano, TX; sister in law Judy Steen of Clayton, NM along with numerous other extended family members.
