Kyle Lee Jones, 60 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Fobbs, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Kyle was born October 2, 1957 in Bridgeport, TX to Lee Orion and Junie (Judy) Mae (Thompson) Jones. He was united in marriage to Carol Ann (Cole) on March 17, 1975; she preceded him in death in 2007. Kyle was a longtime resident of Dumas. He worked for 25 years as an electrical linesman and was a member of IBEW linesman union. Kyle was a happy go lucky type of person and liked helping people as he owned a bail bond company. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was a member of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group). Kyle always had a cowboy hat on and a cigarette wherever he was. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Dumas. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife, he is also preceded in death by his parents; and son: Donnie Jones. Kyle is survived by his son: Chris Jones and fianc Melissa Cox of Dumas; brothers: Garry Jones and wife Lisa of Dumas and Travis Jones of Amarillo; granddaughters: Jolee and Rylee Jones of Dumas; step- grandson: Nate Cummins and step-granddaughter: Hannah Cummins of Dumas; niece: Bergundi Thurman; and nephews: Stetson and Bubba Jones all of Dumas. The family suggests memorials be made to Panhandle Children's Foundation, P.O. Box 1541, Dumas, TX 79029.
