Laquita Lermon

Laquita Joyce Lermon passed from this life December 12, 2023 at the age of 82. Graveside services will be held in the Stratford Cemetery on Wednesday, December 20^th, 2023 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon with Wayne Smith officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted with Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Laquita was born December 16, 1940, in Carter, OK to Fred and Nettie Roles. She married Raymond Lermon on April 1st 1961, and unto this union were born 2 sons Fred and Ray.  Laquita lives most of her life in Stratford, TX before moving to Amarillo.

Laquita loved crocheting, puzzles, art and crafts, bingo, supreme pizza, fried jalapenos and for sure the Texas Rangers. She would beam when her kids, grandkids and great grandkids would visit and tell her stories of their doings and activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Raymond in 1994, brothers Malford and Wilburn Roles and daughter Velma Jones.

She is survived by her sons Fred and Colette Lermon of Wildorado TX, Ray and Tammi Lermon of Stratford and James (Butch) Lermon of Port Aransas TX. Grandchildren Tamber McKown, Rowdy Lermon, Ransom Lermon, Damon Jones, Michael Jones and Donna and (Brian) Davis. Great Grandchildren Farryn McKown, Raymond Lermon, Rolland Lermon, Donovan Davis, Brianna Perez, TJ Davis and James Davis and 3 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive family and friends after the services at the Sherman County Barn 501 S Maple St, Stratford, TX 79084.
