Laura Katherine McKown

Laura Katherine McKown, 57 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, December 06, 2016. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, December, 8, 2016 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Dumas. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Laura was born on December 23, 1958 to Bobby and Ernestine (Powell) McKown. Laura loved to play games on her computer, loved animals and was an excellent painter. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She is survived by her mother Ernestine of the home; brother Sean McKown and wife Sandy of Amarillo; uncle Marvin Powell and wife Frances of Amarillo; one niece and several nephews.
