One of her favorite times at the Stratford Church of Christ was attending the Ladies Bible Class. She enjoyed her friends, June always aspired to be a better Christian. She was a person that others enjoyed being around, she basically lived the by Golden Rule and the philosophy that ‘If you can’t say something nice, then just keep quiet and don’t say anything at all’.” Chuck and June believed family was very important.  Holidays were spent together with big meals with Thanksgiving from Thursday through Sunday.  June taught her grandchildren to play Skipbo, wahoo and was always up for a game.  She was also a very good croquet player.  June also loved following the Stratford Elks and her children and grandchildren as they played sports.
