Louise Jameson, 102 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Louise was born on December 4, 1918 in Alfred, LA to James and Essie (Dennis) Amos. She had been a resident of Dumas for 83 years. Louise married W.T. "Tom" Jameson December 16, 1938 in Dumas, TX.; he preceded her in death on March 19, 1986. She was a dedicated homemaker who loved to bake and was known for her wedding cakes. She was also an excellent seamstress. Louise was a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. Her faith was steadfast and loved to read and write devotionals. Louise was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter of Dumas. In additions to her husband, Tom, she was preceded in death by her parents; son: Bill William Jameson; daughter: Judy Haire; grandson: Randy Haire; 3 sisters and one brother. Survivors include grandchildren: LaDonna "Deanie" Wells and husband Doyle of Ft. Worth, TX, Bobby Haire and husband Richard Miller of Dumas, TX, Kelly Jameson of Indiana, Jamie Oakley of Amarillo, TX, Billy Jameson and wife Stacy of Amarillo, TX; 9 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
