Lucia Ruiz Carbajal

Lucia Ruiz Carbajal, 64 of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Lucia was born on July 19, 1951 in Huejotitan, Chih, MX to Jose and Guadalupe (Ruiz) Carbajal. She was a resident of Dumas since 1988. She was united in marriage to Rafael Ruiz; he preceded her in death in 2006. Lucia was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was a very loving and wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends. Lucia is survived by her sons: Rafael Alex and wife Rita, Robert and wife Ruby, Guerrero and wife Maricruz, Guadalupe and wife Joanna; daughter: Rosario and husband Alfonso all of Dumas; fourteen grandchildren; sisters: Soledad and Guadalupe both of Lubbock, Rogelia of Dumas; brother: Manuel of Chihuahua.
