Luis Armando Jimenez, 54 of Odessa, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. The rosary will be recited at 6 o'clock in the evening on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 11 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Cremation will follow the mass under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Luis was born on March 11, 1966 in Mexico to Rito Jimenez and Maria De Jesus Paz. Luis loved music and his passion was being a DJ. He was of catholic faith and will be greatly missed. Luis is preceded in death by his mother. Luis is survived by his children: Edwin Rodriguez of Port Arthur, TX, Melina Jimenez of Salina, KS and Luis Armando Jimenez Jr. of Manhattan, KS; father: Rito Jimenez of Dumas, TX; siblings: Antonio Jimenez of Dumas, TX, Alfredo Jimenez of El Paso, TX, Rodolfo Jimenez of Dumas, TX, Cruz Jimenez of Decatur, TX, Maria Elena Vega of Odessa, TX and Rito Jimenez Jr. of Juarez, Mexico; 4 grandchildren; several other extended family members.
