Luz Aide Lopez

Luz Aide "Lucy" Lopez, 24 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019. The rosary will be recited at 6 oclock in the evening on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 3 oclock in the afternoon on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. "Lucy" was born on February 5, 1995 in Amarillo, TX to Lorenzo Lopez and Juanita Vasquez. She had worked at JBS Swift as a trimmer. She could always lighten the mood and make people laugh, no matter the situation. She always had a beautiful smile and that will be missed. She is preceded in death by her brother, Manuel Vasquez. She is survived by her parents: Lorenzo Lopez and Juanita Vasquez; children: Manuel Hernandez and Ezreal Benjamin Lopez; siblings: Marisela Lopez, Lorenzo Lopez, Miguel Angel Lopez, Liliana Lopez, Laura Lopez, Cristobal Lopez, Alex Lopez, Mercedes Lopez and Abigail Lopez.
