Manuela Lino

Manuela Lino, 76 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2020. A funeral service will be held at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jessie Perez officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Manuela was born December 26, 1943 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuel and Maria (Arambula) Pion. She married the love of her life, Socorro Lino in 1961 and they would make Dumas their home. Manuela was a wonderful housewife and mother to her children. She loved spending time with them and their friends. Manuela was a wonderful babysitter for her children and grandchildren. During family gatherings, she loved to show her dancing skills. Manuela was an amazing cook and the family would often ask for her chili rellenos. She was also a wonderful mother in law to her childrens spouses. Manuela was a member of Cass Para El Rey Church in Amarillo and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, Manuela was preceded in death by a daughter Marisela. Manuela is survived by her husband Socorro of the home; daughter: Guadalupe Lino of Mexico; sons: Socorro Lino, Jr. and Alfredo Lino both of Dumas; grandchildren: Yasmin Lino, Cynthia Lino, Jesus Lino, Jr., Marcella Lino, Ricardo Mendoza, Ivan Mendoza, Mikey Mendoza, Steven Mendoza, Alfredo Lino, Jr., and Alejandro Lino; and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother and sister in Mexico.
