Margaret Ann Laurent

Margaret Ann Laurent, 72 of Dumas, TX passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. Memorial Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Widener, officiating. Private burial will be held at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. 

Margaret was born on November 24, 1950, in Dumas, TX to James and Alice “Jo Ben” (Lackey) Caudle. She married Jerry Mike Laurent on July 5, 1969, in Sunray, TX. Margaret worked for Designs Unlimited and later taught preschool at Crossroads. Margaret was a kind-hearted, loving person. She was very active member of the Bible Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Margaret was also an exceptionally good artist. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Albert Caudle.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Mike, of the home; daughter: Meredith Laurent of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Syndey Bell and husband Benjamin, Jordan Laurent and Havan Laurent; sister: Mary Smith of Dumas, TX; brother: Joe Caudle of Rock Springs, WY; along with numerous other extended family members.
