Maria Carrizales

Maria Carrizales, 63 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 5 oclock in the evening on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Primer Iglesia Bautista. Cremation will follow the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Maria was born on January 23, 1956 in Morton, TX to Juan Prieto and Manuela Gonzales. Maria loved to sew and watch the Lone Ranger. Her church family, Primer Iglesia Bautista, was very important to her. She taught Sunday School and loved to read her bible. Maria was an excellent wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Diana Prieto. Maria is survived by her husband, Jesse, of the home; children: Rosie of Dumas, TX, Xavier Jesse of Dumas, TX, Anthony of Dumas, TX, Michael of Fort Worth, TX, Jason of Lubbock, TX, Jacob of Dumas, TX, Marisol of Fort Worth, TX, Jose Antonio of Lovington, NM and Paul of Lovington, NM; three sisters from Lubbock, TX, one sister from Austin, TX and two brothers from Lubbock, TX.
