Maria De Jesus Gallardo

Maria De Jesus Gallardo, 89, of Stratford, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017. The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 o'clock in the morning on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at St Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Cesar Gomez, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Stratford Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Maria was born January 11, 1928 in Julimes, Chihuahua, MX to Carlos and Damasia (Pando) Gallegos. She married Lorenzo Gallardo on November 29, 1947 in Aldama, Chihuahua. Maria was a devoted housewife; family was very important to her. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and will be missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Lorenzo of the home; children: Manuel Gallardo, Arcelia Gallardo, Catalina Vicente, Bertha Peregrino, Maria Palma and husband Leonel; grandchildren: Gregorio Fierro, Rosendo Fierro, Elva Fierro, Patricia Fierro, Francisco Fierro, Manuel Gallardo, Jr., Griselda, Tere, Gerardo, Lorena, Hector, Hugo, Luis, Jesus, Jr., Carlos, Luis, Diana, Jessica, Ruby, Juan, Lirio, Cesar, Eduardo, Crystal, Lupe, April, Rocio, Alex, Rudy, Suzzette; and 48 great-grandchildren.
