Maria Guadalupe Negrete Montanez

Maria Guadalupe Negrete Montanez, 36, of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Luis Lopez as celebrant. The rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Thursday at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Maria was born on August 21, 1988, to Emilio Negrete and Maria Irma Montanez. She married Juan Carlos Martinez on September 16, 2013, in Mexico and the couple moved to Dumas where they made their home. Maria was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Maria is survived by her husband Juan Carlos Martinez of the home; her mother Maria of Mexico; five sisters, three brothers along with numerous other extended family members.
