Maria Rosario Lopez

Maria Rosario Lopez, 75 of Stratford, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Stratford Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Anderson officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Maria was born on August 21, 1946, in Ft. Stockton, TX to Catarino Gutierrez and Guadalupe De La Cruz. She married Joe Lopez who preceded her in death in 1998. Maria was a homemaker and an excellent cook who enjoyed cooking for her family. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: Catarino, Arturo and Henry. Maria is survived by her siblings: Catarina Gutierrez of AZ, Gilbert Gutierrez and wife Candy of Stratford, TX, Ruben Adame and wife Dawn of AZ and Gloria Ballez of AZ along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
