Maria Villareal

Maria Villarreal, 83 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026. Memorial services will be held at 11 o'clock in the morning on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Josh Flores officiating. Private family burial will take place in West Park Cemetery in Hereford, TX. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Maria was born on October 7, 1942, in Karnes County, TX to Bernarido and Eulalia (Lejia) Villarreal. In 1974 she married Raymundo Perez; he preceded her in death in 1984. In 1997 she reunited with her first sweetheart David Rodriguez and they had 27 years together. She was his “Girlfriend “and he was her “Honeys”. She obtained a whole family with David. Maria worked as a seamstress and presser for Linda’s Cleaners for over 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed garage sales and thrift stores.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; grandsons: Nicholas Barraza and Keegan Rodriquez; stepfather: Felix Quiroz; brothers: Inocencio and Jimmy Villarreal; sisters: Lucia Morales and Carmen Badillo.

Maria is survived by her stepchildren: Mia Rodriquez, Buddy Rodriquez, and Billy Rodriquez; 21 grandchildren; siblings: Edward Villarreal and wife Roxanne, Benny Villarreal and wife Tencha, Daniel Villarreal, Petra Villalobos and husband Lupe, Patricio Villarreal, Johnny Quiroz and wife Diane, Jessie Quiroz, Nina Quiroz, and Silvia Mejia; brother-in-law: Tomas Badillo.
