Matt McEwan

Matt McEwan, 60 formerly of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.  Funeral services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Grady Burkhalter officiating.  Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Matt was born on November 13, 1961, in Dumas, TX to Daniel “Buddy” and Mary (Light) McEwan.  He grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School.  Matt enjoyed spending time with his friends and four wheeling.  He was currently working in Arizona as a heating and air technician.  Matt was of Christian Faith and will be missed by many friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Margaret Rindahl, Vicky McEwan; two brothers: LeRoy McEwan and Bobby McEwan.

Matt is survived by his children: Matthew McEwan, Jenny McEwan and Levi McEwan; the mother of his children, Diane McEwan; brother: Danny McEwan; his niece: Stacey Shafer along with numerous other extended family members.
