Molly Ann Galloway, born on June 22, 1942, in Dalhart, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, in Dumas, Texas. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose lifelong dedication to education and family left an enduring legacy in the community she so dearly loved.

Molly was the beloved daughter of R.J. Davis and Belle Pemberton. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her brother L.J. Davis and sister Alana Jackson. A proud graduate of Stratford High School, Molly furthered her education with two years at WT before completing her degree in education at OPSU. Her passion for teaching was realized in her role as a fourth-grade teacher in Sunray, Texas, where she made a profound impact on the lives of her students.

On July 1, 1962, Molly married Jerry Galloway in Stratford, Texas, embarking on a lifelong journey of love and partnership that deeply enriched her family. Together, they raised their family with unwavering devotion.

Molly found great joy in following the achievements and lives of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting and was a supporter of the Sunray Bobcats. She enjoyed Blue Sky in Amarillo, especially their famous sweet potato fries, added a touch of delight to her life’s simple pleasures.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Jerry Galloway, of the home; her sons, Travis Galloway and wife Donna of Hammond, Oklahoma, and T.J. Galloway and wife Heidi of Brock, Texas. Her grandchildren include Troy Galloway and wife Haley of Fort Worth, Texas; Sergeant Jared Galloway and wife Taylor of Hawaii; Joel Galloway and wife Alyse of Weatherford, Texas; Chad Fox and wife Hannah of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Cheyenne Lytle and husband Ronnie of Elgin, Oklahoma; Cody Fox and wife Malory; great-grandchildren: Tristen Lytle, Cash Fox, Colt Fox, Harrison Galloway, Molly Galloway, Max Galloway, Tinleigh Galloway, and Jasper Galloway. She was also blessed with a great-great-grandchild, Carson Fox.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 o'clock in the morning on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Sunray Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Houston, officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 o'clock to 5 o'clock in the afternoon at the funeral home in Dumas. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
