Nora Ella Jalomo

Nora Ella Jalomo, 60, formerly of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021. A Rosary will be recited at 6 oclock in the evening on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Nora was born on May 10, 1960 in Pearsall, TX to Pablo and Reymunda (Trujillo) Bernal. She worked for Tyson Foods. In her free time Nora enjoyed shopping, dancing, cooking, and cookouts. She also enjoyed being on her phone or Facebook. Even though her granddaughter attended UT she remained an avid OU Sooners fan. Above all, her family was very important to her especially her grandchildren who she adored. She was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Church in Amarillo. Nora will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Maria Paula Hernandez; brother: Hector Bernal. Nora is survived by her children: Valentino "Tino" Jalomo and wife Jennifer of Amarillo, TX, Lisa Galvan and husband Albert of Amarillo, TX, Elias Rueben Jalomo and wife Jennifer of Amarillo, TX, Venessa Jalomo of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Dominique, Aleigha, Jordan, Alex, Ivan, Adam, and Alyssa; great-granddaughter: Damaris; sisters and brothers: Yolanda Bernal of Dumas, TX, Art Bernal and wife Mary of Dumas, TX, Mario Bernal and wife Margarita of Dumas, TX, Norma Jalomo and husband Lupe of Dumas, TX, Roy Bernal and wife Karmen of Amarillo, TX, and Leo Bernal and wife Olivia of Amarillo, TX.
