Patricia Curtis

Patricia "Pat" Curtis, 87 of Sunray, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, August 25, 2023 at Sunray Baptist Church with Bruce Broxson, family friend, officiating.  Interment will follow in Lane Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Beeson~Morrison Funeral Directors.  The family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening on Thursday at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Sunray.

Patricia was born on February 15, 1936, in Lefors, TX to Euil and Velma (Burdine) Fulton. She married Gene Curtis on March 26, 1955, in Lefors and the couple later moved to Sunray where they made their home.  Pat worked at the school cafeteria for several years.  She enjoyed cooking and was known for her dinner rolls.  Her greatest times were spent with her family enjoying each other’s company.  She was a member of the Sunray Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Gene, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Donald Fulton and David Ray Fulton; sister: Lois Vivian Turner; Nephews: Don Fulton and David Ray Fulton, Jr.

Patricia is survived by her children: John Curtis and wife Beverly of Hereford, TX, Charles Curtis of Sunray, TX, Debra Curtis of Sunray, TX and Stephen Curtis of Sunray, TX; grandchildren: Emily Wade and husband Aaron of Hereford, TX, Philip Curtis and wife Melissa of Amarillo, TX; great-grandchildren: Grace Marie Wade and Norah Kay Curtis; brother: Billy Joe Fulton of Alanreed, TX.
