Peggy Sue Boyd

Peggy Sue Boyd, 84 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Dr. David Bonner, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 5 o’clock in the afternoon until 7 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Peggy was born on March 22, 1941, in Beaver, OK to George and Patsy (Gentry) Love. On May 14, 1965, she married Robert “Bob” Boyd in Beaver, OK; he preceded her in death. Peggy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to sew and make quilts. Peggy enjoyed staying active by serving in several organizations in town. She was member of the Wrestling Club, Cub Scouts of America, Extension Homemaker, and Vice President of Babe Ruth. Peggy was also a member of Bible Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son: Bryan; sister: Maxine; brother: Frank.

Peggy is survived by her son: Brent Boyd and wife Ritche of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Tracie Boyd, Diana Boyd and fiancé Dylon; great-grandchildren: Isabella Jones and Liam Jones; brother: Buddy Love and wife Jody.
