Phillip Mehringer

Phillip Mehringer, 81, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Phillip was born on January 11, 1935 to Phillip Francis and Addie Pearl Mehringer in Kinsley, KS. He married LaDonna (Moureen) Derley on December 25, 1952 in Kinsley, KS. Phillip was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. He was a member at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church. Phillip is survived by his seven children: David Scott and Linda Mehringer of Midlothian, TX, Kim Davon and Jane Mehringer of Midland, TX, Shonda Gaye and Charlie Nelson of Dumas, TX; Eric Mehringer of Mansfield, TX. Fifteen grandchildren: Heather and Steve Adler of Newtown, PA, Sarah and Chris Roberts of Grand Prairie, TX, Amy and Joe Peteet of Midland, TX, and Holly and Tyler Liles of Dumas, TX, Jeremy and Amanda Mehringer of Midlothian, TX, Aaron Mehringer of Midland, TX, David and Natalie Nelson of Waco, TX, Drew Mehringer of Somerset, NJ, Zach Mehringer of Fort Worth, TX and nine great grandchildren.
