Pilar Rios Joe Gabaldon

Pilar "Joe" Rios Gabaldon, 60 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020. Due to current restrictions, memorial services will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Joe was born on October 12, 1959 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Gregorio and Eustacia Rios Gabaldon. The family moved to Dumas where Joe went to school and graduated from Dumas High School. After graduation, Joe became a machinist and worked for General Electric where he worked on turbine engines. Joe would later graduate from Devry Institute and began his career in HVAC repair. Joe was a great outdoorsman and loved to fish and hunt. He also played the guitar and enjoyed golf. Joe was a man of Christian Faith. Joe is preceded in death by his parents. Joe is survived by his children: Marc Gabaldon of Ft. Worth, TX, Gregory Gabaldon and wife Martha of Garland, TX and Elissa Gabaldon Jimenez and husband Christian and son Adam Jimenez of Mesquite, TX; siblings: Cruz Delgado of Amarillo, TX, Josephine Salgado of Dumas, TX, Paula Salcido of Porta La Varta, Mexico, Delia Alrcon and husband Alfred of Amarillo, TX, Natalie Gee and husband Dennis of Amarillo, TX, Chrisencio Gabaldon and wife Dena of Dallas, TX, Rosario Lyons and husband Bill of Maui, HI, George Gabaldon and wife Sarah of Fritch, TX and Mary Heisler and husband Brian of Amarillo, TX; 27 nieces and nephews. The family suggest with gratitude that memorials be made to the American Heart Association.
