Rachel Mae Hinsley, age 64, of Smiths Station, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 at her home.

A visitation for family and friends for Rachel will be held Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Waverly Hall Baptist Church, 7515 GA Hwy 208, Waverly Hall, GA. A celebration of life funeral service will follow Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 at 2:00 PM, 7515 GA Hwy 208, Waverly Hall, GA 31831 with Pastor Lee Thompson officiating. A burial will occur at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas, TX with Pastor Keith Hight officiating.

Rachel was born October 8th, 1959 in Belen, New Mexico; daughter of the late Wilburn Fields and Gracie Bell Debruler Fields. She was a member of Waverly Hall Baptist Church and long-time member of Hunt United Methodist Church in Dumas, TX. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Alvis Hinsley.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Hinsley, sons, Wilburn Hinsley (Ruth), Chris Hinsley (Trista), Kenneth Hinsley (Tamara); brothers, Johnny Fields, Roy Fields (Trish) and her sister, Kathy Lindsey. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Cole, Dominic, Emma, Tessa, Lane, Alayna, Bobby, Dakota, Mary Jane and her adopted son, David Eudy (McKenzie) and their children, Kennon, Avery and Sean.
