Ricardo A. Flores, Jr.

Ricardo 'Dee' Flores, 23, of Dumas, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June23, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at Cornerstone Church with Rev. Ramon Muniz officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Ricardo was born October 19, 1994 in Deming, New Mexico to Richard and Teena (Martinez) Flores. He lived most of his life in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School North Plains Opportunity Center in 2013. Ricardo enjoyed being with his friends, playing video games, target shooting or working on his vehicles. Ricardo loved to play football and his favorite place to travel was Colorado. He had the most infectious smile and could always make you laugh. Ricardo will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Ricardo is preceded in death by his great grandparents; Joe and Molly Lopez and an uncle; Mark Martinez. Ricardo is survived by his mother, Teena Martinez of Dumas; father: Richard Flores of New Mexico; brother: Jason Martinez and girlfriend Victoria Gomez of Amarillo; sisters: Corena Moreno and boyfriend Adrian Aguayo of Alabama and Amy Flores and boyfriend Mario Franco of Dumas; brother: Roy Flores of Dumas; grandparents; Jimmy and Maria Flores of New Mexico and Loretta and Fred Armenta of Stratford; aunts: Carla Martinez and boyfriend Afa Tuaolo of Dumas, Rose and husband Carlos Mireles of Stratford, Norma Vasquez and Rosa Baeza and husband Eddie all of New Mexico; uncles: Andrew Martinez and wife Charlotte of Stratford and Rudy Martinez and wife Amy of Dalhart; nephews; JJ Martinez of Amarillo and Izais Gonzales of Alabama; nieces: Amorette Gonzales, Ariana and Mia Aguayo all of Alabama. He is also survived by many other friends and family.
