Richard Day

Richard Bradley Day, 72, of Dumas, passed away on June 3, 2025. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas.

Richard was born to Joe and Mary (Wilson) Day on August 3, 1952, at Camp Carson, Colorado. He married Cheryl (Luedtke) in Dumas April 9, 1976, and they had 49 wonderful years together. Richard spent many years travelling the roads as a truck driver for Presser Construction and Lonestar Farms in Sunray. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Tom and Mary; and siblings: Joe Leonard Day and Sharon Britton.

Richard is survived by his wife Cheryl of the home; son: Jeremy Day of Dumas; sister: Louise Tronnes of Minnesota; grandchildren: Justin McWilliams and wife Lillianna of Dumas, Maeci Sauzameda and husband Gus of Borger, Bryan Bednorz of Nelis AFB, Las Vegas, NV, McKenzie Lyle of Dumas, TX, James Bednorz of Ft Benning, GA, Jax Day of Ft Jackson, SC; great grandchildren: Adriel Bradley Sauzameda of Borger, TX and Wesley Scott McWilliams of Dumas, TX.
