Robert “Bob” Campbell, 84 of Dumas passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Life Tabernacle Church with Sammy Eaton and Mark Wallis officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Bob was born on February 3, 1941, in Houston, TX to Robert Lee and Ella Irene (Barrick) Campbell. The family moved to Amarillo, TX and while there, he met a young lady at church. He and Gay Sandel were married on November 18, 1960, in Amarillo, TX and the couple eventually moved to Dumas where they made their home and raised their children. Bob drove a truck delivering freight all over the panhandle for Thomas Cartage, owned and operated Campbell’s Parfait and later worked at Moore Windshield until his retirement. Bob was an avid coin collector and enjoyed being the designated driver of the grand-parents group at Life Tabernacle where he had been a member since 1967. Bob was a man who deeply believed in faith, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter: Allyson Ford; great grandson: Traydon McCutchan.
Bob is survived by his wife Gay, of the home; children: Tracy Russell and husband Don of Dumas, TX, Carrie Ford and husband Glenn of Dumas, TX, Bobby Campbell of Nashville, TN; sister: Alice Causey of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Caleb McCutchan and wife Dana, Jordan Blue and husband Smoky, Heather Leeper and husband Andrew, Leah Ford, and Makenzie Dunn and husband Grant along with 10 great-grandchildren.
