Robert Anthony Marrufo

Robert Anthony Marrufo, 59 of Dumas passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Watson, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Robert was born on March 29, 1965 in Burbank, CA to Benny and Frances (Lopez). He grew up in Aurora Colorado where he graduated from Hinkley High School. He married Melissa Bennett on June 18, 1999 in Dumas. Robert worked in the restaurant business for several years before settling with Allsups where he retired as a Regional Manager after 23 years of service. Robert loved to collect watches and guns. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and eating a good meal, after he told his daughters how to cook it. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by his wife, Melissa of the home; daughters: Ruby Granado of Temple, TX and Rachelle Archibeque of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Alejandra Marshall, Esperanza Granado, Ryan Lopez, Christopher McAnarney, Jordan McAnarney, Jadyn McAnarney, Jocelyne McAnarney, Zandria Mitchell; great-grandchild: Callum Chavez; siblings: David Marrufo, Sonny Marrufo, and Kathy Hendon.
