Rogelio Bueno Garcia

Rogelio Bueno Garcia, 72 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. The rosary will be recited at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3 o’clock in the afternoon at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Rogelio was born on February 22, 1949, in Hondo, TX to Guadalupe and Dementria Bueno Garcia. Rogelio moved to Dumas and worked for Kelly Hays as a farmer for over 33 years. Rogelio was known to his fellow farmers as an extremely hard worker. He was a special man who was loved by everyone that he met. A lot of young men looked at him as a second father. He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Rogelio was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Yolanda, Primo, Olga, Guadalupe, and Celso.Rogelio leaves behind his wife, Sandy Garcia of the home; children: Roger Garcia Jr., Diedra Garcia, Andy Santos and Reyna Santos who affectionately called him “Papa”; brother: Rudy Roy Garcia and wife Mary; sisters: Mary Garcia and Evonne Flores; grandchildren: Maxwell Headding and Andrew Santos.
