Ruth Meeks Harry

Ruth Meeks Harry, 94, of Dumas, died, Wednesday, September, 13, 2006, in Dumas. Services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2006, at 2:00 PM in Smith Mortuary of Charleston, Arkansas, with Billy Bagwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston. Local arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Mrs. Harry was born January 10, 1912, in Greenwood, Arkansas, to James Oscar and Minnie Ethyl Burton Martin. She was a former resident of Sunray, TX, and had been a Dumas resident since 1995. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by husbands Malcolm Meeks and L. V. Harry. Survivors include: one daughter, Frankie Marston of Dumas; two granddaughters, Tonya Salas of Amarillo and Kim Martinez of Dumas; one grandson, Brant Marston of Wichita Falls and five great grandchildren.
