Shane Michael Hanna, 37 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, September 04, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Watson officiating and Pastor Grady Burkhalter assisting. Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Shane was born on December 6, 1983, in Dumas TX to Mike Hanna and Nena Bechtel. He grew up in Dumas where he received his education and graduated from Dumas High School. After graduation, Shane worked for Hartley Feeders, Texas Beef, Potter Trucking and most recently Scout Energy where he was currently employed. Shane married Kammie on September 17, 2011, in Dumas, TX where the couple made their home. Even at a young age, Shane was a busy man who could never sit still. He was always doing something. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved cooking for his family and friends. Shane was a gun enthusiast and a political and twitter warrior. He loved singing, dancing, and telling jokes. Shane will be remembered for his great hugs he would give, when Shane hugged you, you knew it. Shane was always willing to help others and will greatly missed by his family and friends. Shane was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jean Hanna and his grandfather, Troy Potter. Shane is survived by his wife, Kammie of the home; children: Logan, Mustin and Julia of the home; parents: Mike Hanna and Nena and Rex Shook; grandparents: Ernest Hanna, Linda Potter and Steve Bechtel; brother: Nick Schuman; sisters: Kym LaRue, Jessica McAlister and Nichole Carroway; mother in law: Klonda Anderson; father in law: Ronnie Hickman; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. The family suggests with gratitude that in lieu of customary remembrances, donations may be made to the donor’s charity of choice. The family will be at 600 Cedar.
