Sharon Louise Williams, formerly of Sunray, passed away on June 15, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas, at the age of 82. Born on January 19, 1944, to Charles and Blanche (Feemster) Lindsey in Dumas, Texas. Sharon began her remarkable journey surrounded by the warmth and close-knit spirit of her hometown.

Throughout her life, Sharon was known for her compassionate heart and unwavering grace. Her time in Sunray infused her with a deep sense of community and belonging, values that she carried with her wherever she went. Sharon’s presence was marked by quiet strength and an enduring concern for others, making a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

As a former business owner and licensed social worker, Sharon’s legacy is defined by the kindness and dignity she shared with family, friends, and all whose paths she crossed. Her gentle nature, integrity, and sincerity created bonds that transcended generations, and her life was a testament to the power of compassion and resilience. She was a long-time member of Sunray Baptist Church

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Charles Lindsey and sister: Janesse Lindsey.

Sharon is survived by her sons: Kelly Williams and wife Lisa of Odessa, TX, Kevin Williams and wife Pam of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Cody Defries and wife Suzanne, Trent Defries and wife Chelsea, Abby Rossi and husband Sean, Derek Williams and wife Kelsea, Aaron Williams and wife Allie, Lindsey Hamlin and husband Garrett, Caitlin Warner and wife Ashleigh, Sophie Williams; 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Bruce Broxson, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Sharon will be profoundly missed, yet the memories and values she instilled remain a guiding light for those she leaves behind. Her journey stands as a reminder of the grace and quiet strength that make a life truly well-lived.
