Shirley Ann Nelson

Shirley Ann Nelson, 76 of Sunray, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2020. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Seth Seale, officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Shirley was born on April 15, 1944 in Amarillo, TX to Mack and Ada Brumley. On October 2, 1960 she was united in marriage to Frank Nelson in Oregon; the couple later moved to Sunray where they made their home. Shirley loved fishing and even more a good cup of coffee. She also relished having her hair and nails done by her daughter Sebrina. Shirley devoted her life to her children and grandchildren; she loved them dearly. Shirley will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: William Leon and Allen Eugene Nelson; numerous brothers and sisters. Shirley is survived by her husband Frank, of the home; son: Jim Nelson and wife Jackie of Sunray, TX; daughter: Sebrina Brown and husband Michael of Sunray, TX; grandchildren: James Nelson and wife Laura of Chatom, AL, Bri Fletcher of Bay City, TX, Jacob Nelson and wife Emory of Sunray, TX, Heidi Farnham of Bay City, TX, Travis Nelson and wife Victoria of Medford, OR; sister; Effie Dupree of Grants Pass, OR; 11 great grandchildren.
